Carol Sue was born and raised in Bremerton. Growing up in this small city, she is very familiar with the local history, the neighborhoods, and is deeply rooted in the community. She is active in supporting the current revitalization of downtown Bremerton. When Carol Sue is not busy selling homes, she is busy raising her twin daughters, playing with her Shelties and restoring her vintage home in Bremerton.

Carol Sue Rogers and Windermere care about the community. Each time Carol Sue sells a home, a portion of her commission goes to the Windermere Foundation. This foundation contributed funds to nonprofit organizations dedicated to helping homeless families in Bremerton and Kitsap County. As an agent, Carol Sue sets aside a day each year to give back to her community by participating in "Community Service Day". On this day, Carol Sue and her fellow agents take time off from work to complete a project for a local organization that benefit that whole community. Some of the projects in the local area include the School for Autistic Children, and the Bremerton Community Center.
